On Common Ground is a group of organizational consultation and training professionals from the fields of psychology, adventure-based training, education, peer leadership, counseling, business, motivation, performing arts, martial arts and law enforcement. Through our consultative approach, On Common Ground brings comprehensive prevention and early intervention to a variety of schools, organizations and community-based settings. On Common Ground plans, implements and evaluates programs for both youth and adults. We help groups create the climate in which "true community” can grow. On Common Ground senior training staff is made up of school psychologists, teachers, learning specialists and counselors who understand school systems. On Common Ground Co-directors are: Judith Springer, Psy. D. and Chris Miller. On Common Ground extended training staff includes: Pete Springer, Rita Johnson-Ray, Psy. D., Paul Seetoo, Sara Gold, Michelle McLaughlin, MSW, Emily Sommerman, Psy.D., Thomas Turney, Mykee Fowlin, Psy. D., LCSW and Jose L. Gonzalez, LDTC. On Common Ground is approved by the New Jersey Department of Education as a Character Education Services Provider. When the expectations of the community are fulfilled, group members begin to feel safe and secure and then begin to learn more about themselves and others.
