At On Common Ground, we know that campus culture happens by chance or by choice. On Common Ground has provided program consultation and customized training design services to hundreds of organizations who understand that creating a positive campus culture is a critical strategic decision.
Since 1995 our philosophy and approach has been to empower student leaders and staff to impact school climate as skilled catalysts for a more positive campus culture. We have seen a growing need for effective human relations programs with a few specific trends emerging. To address these needs we have developed a training series that includes Mediation, Diversity Awareness, Teambuilding and Leadership Development.
The ACCESS Institute training series invites staff and student leaders from multiple colleges and universities together for a three day residential training. Each topic will be scheduled throughout the year and held at Linwood MacDonald Retreat Center in Northwest, NJ and at Trout Lake Retreats in the Pocono's. Students and staff from SGA, Residence Life as well as, other Campus Organizational Leaders (e.g. Greek Life) will all benefit greatly from the various training’s offered.
