Mediation - This training prepares teams of students and staff to work as a residence hall or general campus based conflict resolution resource. Program benefits include:
- Participants gain valuable skills and experience in conflict resolution and mediation.

Relational Leadership - Focuses on experientially teaching student leaders about tools, techniques and abilities to effectively lead their organizations.
- Participant student leaders develop critical self and inter-personal skills (e.g. self-awareness, communication skills, problem-solving skills and empathy) for effectively working with others.
- Student focused clubs from SGA to Greek life benefit from a more inclusive and collaborative culture.
Diversity Awareness and Competence - This training focuses on increasing awareness, empathy and understanding toward, homophobia, racism, ageism, sexism, and other hurtful manifestations of bias.
- Participants learn to identify biased attitudes (their own and others) and explore strategies (personal and programmatic) for dealing effectively with prejudice.
- General student population or residence halls may gain peer led programs that increase inter-personal awareness and understanding.
- Campus culture moves toward greater diversity competence.
Teambuilding - This training works with staff and student leaders to develop a repertoire of techniques and skills for effective and supportive team development.
- Participants increase their self-awareness, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and empathy through group discussions and unique activities.
- School organizations benefit as leaders turn-key activities inviting their membership to gain greater self and inter-personal awareness, understanding and skills.
Customized Programs - On Common Ground also designs individual campus, club or organizational human relation strategies and training programs.
